3/25/16 Stuart, FL Fishing Report

Fishing this week has been excellent, Spring patterns are in full effect!
Inshore, Nearshore, & Offshore fishing has been stellar~

This week

    Inshore-

Fishing inshore has been red hot for Snook, Snapper, JAck Crevelles, Triple- Tail, Seatrout, LAdyfish, & Pompano. Fishing Structure all along the indian river will produce many Snook at any point during the day. Pompano are being caught in open water near long sandy flats. Sea Trout are being caught to the north near our St. Lucie Power Plant. Snook & Jack Crevelles have been biting the best over the past few days. Lots of Keeper sized Snook being caught this week.

    Nearshore

Nearshore action has been on fire for Cobia Fans. Cobia fishing has been stellar this week. Many limits are being caught on most trips. These fish range from 25-65 lbs during the spring Cobia run. Lots of small snapper being caught bottom fishing. Spanish Mackerel are still being caught along the beaches along with many hungry bluefish. Kingfish are being caught on the troll or live baits over the past few days as well. Cobia fishing has been your best bet this week nearshore.

    Offshore

Fishing further out has been great for larger Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Bonito, Cobia, & Kingfish. Mahi can range from 5-55lbs during the spring run! Sails are being caught every couple trips mostly on live bait but also on the troll as well. Blackfins are being caught super early before first light or later in the day. Cobia are being caught drifting or even on the troll. Kings are being taken on the troll too.

Tight Lines,
Capt. Jonathan
