Fishing Stuart, FL this week has been red hot. Warm water brings lots of baitfish along with overgrown predators bot inshore & Offshore.
Fishing Inshore has been steady this week. Snook, Snapper, Tarpon, & Jack Crevelles have been biting well on half day fishing charters. Snook are loaded up around local inlets staging for our summer spawn. JAcks are roaming the river looking for a tasty live baitfish. Tarpon are feeding well at first light & sunset on live crabs. Snapper fishing has been excellent this week. Customers are not having any trouble catching there limit on a half day charter.
Fishing nearshore has been excellent for Mutton Snapper, Bonita, Kingfish, Cobia, Almaco Jacks, Permit, Jack Crevelles, Mangrove snapper, & Blue Runners. Drifting live & dead baits has been very productive our past few trips. Everyones getting action and for the most part customers are leaving with plenty of fish and large smiles from a fun filled day of catching. Most of this fishing takes place 2-4 miles out during the month of July.
Offshore has been steady for larger snapper in deeper water this week. Also hold on because full grown AMberjacks are cruising the deeper wrecks and reefs. Lots of Big Grouper mixed in the bag as well. Trolling has been very good this week for Sailfish & bonita. Slow trolling live baits has been very effective for catching multiple sailfish this past few days. Blackfin Tuna are being caught 10-12 miles out at first light & closer to sunset when trolling feathers & vertical jigging during peak tuna times.
