Stuart Fishing report 10/14/14

October has been an  excellent fishing month thus far. Lots of Snook, Tarpon, Snapper, Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Jack Crevelles, etc. Inside the river Snook fishing has been amazing this month using live bait and lures from the Snook Nook. Tarpon bite was on fire last week fish were being hooked up to 175 lbs inside our river!! Also there has been an overabundance of Mangrove Snapper in the river some as big as 5 lbs. Incoming and outgoing tide has been very good for Snook, Trout, Redfish, & Snapper. Along the Beaches the Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Jack Crevelles, & tarpon are in good numbers north & south of the St. Lucie Inlet. Further offshore the Mahi and Sailfish bite has been consistent along with a good bottom bite from 70-220′ of water. Fishing will continue to be strong for the rest of the month, so, contact capt. Jonathan and get on a hot bite this month~
