Fishing Stuart during the month of June is always productive for larger game fish both inshore & offshore!
Fishing inshore this week has been great for larger Snook near our St. Lucie inlet. Season just closed so please remember to release these fish unharmed. Lots of Jacks, Redfish, Flounder and Seatrout are hanging out around Docks along the indian river in cleaner water away from the saint lucie river. Snapper fishing should start warming up in the river so bring lighter rods and extra shrimp to ensure a tasty dinner. Topwaters early morning near the saint lucie power plant along the indian river will produce Seatrout, Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, and large Jack Crevelles. When fishing near or in the St. Lucie river i’d suggest fishing incoming tide due to heavy dumping from lake O.
Fishing Nearshore has been very productive this week. LArge Snapper, Kingfish, Barracuda, Bonita, Cobia, and even a few Mahi. Also on special trips we are catching Goliath Groupers to 400 lbs. Plenty of Sharks around local bait fishing spots as well. Fishing along the beach has been steady for Large Jacks, Permit, Cobia, Sheepshead, Mackerel, & Snapper too. NEarshore half day charters are hard to beat during June.
Fishing Offshore has also been stellar this week. LArge MAhi, Big Snapper, Grouper, Ajs, Rudderfish, Sailfish, Wahoo, Kingfish, & Blackfin Tuna have all been common occurrences on offshore charters as of lately. Bottom fishing deeper water will produce large grouper. Snapper fishing remains steady from 50-100′ of water. MAhi bite was best in 150′ today. Sails are biting well from 70-120′ over the past few days.
